1,000 ways to answer “do you love me?”
Yesterday in TM meeting, a lady, who is expecting her baby in October, said the FAQs (frequent asked questions) around her evolved since she got pregnant
from “when is it due?”
to “do you know the sex?”
to “do you have a name?”
I used feel the same way, found it annoying that different people asking the same questions; then I learned to enjoy the different response from people when I reply with the same answer.
However, today when I asked “do you love me?” It suddenly hit me - I am also asking the same question over and over!
I am so obsessive about the question that I asked whenever, wherever; sometimes I ask the question like a old-fashioned heartbroken song, and sometimes I ask just because.
On the other hand, my intelligent Baby is not only patient, but is always so creative. That hit me again. He knows the same answer couldn’t satisfy my greedy heart, so he tries to continue the sentence “yes, I do” with various methods.
I don’t want to be arrogant, but only want to be appreciative. After in love more than 3 years, with the same questions asked more than once a day, I think it’s fair to say that he has more than 1,000 ways to answer “do you love me?” ;)
