TEN COMMANDMENTS OF HUMAN RELATIONS:
1) Speak to people. There is nothing as nice as a cheerful word of greeting.
2) Smile at people. It takes 72 muscles to frown; 14 to smile.
3) Call people by name. The sweetest music is the sound of his own name.
4) Be friendly & helpful.
5) Be cordial. Speak & act as if everything you do is a genuine pleasure.
6) Be genuinely interested in people. You can like everybody if you try.
7) Be generous with praise--cautious with criticism.
8) Be considerate of the feelings of others. It will be appreciated.
9) Be thoughtful of the opinions of others. There are three sides to a controversy--yours, the other fellow's, & the right one.
10) Be alert to give service. What counts most in life is what we do for others.
人際關係的十誡：
1.對人說話：愉快地向人打招呼，是世上最令人感到心怡的事。
2.對人微笑：你需要用七十二根肌肉來皺眉，但是只需要用十四根肌肉來微笑。
3.稱呼人們的名字：每個人聽來最悅耳的音樂，就是有人叫他自己的名字。
4.要友善和愛幫助他人。
5.要熱誠：你的言行舉止都表現出，你所作的每件事都真的是你很喜歡去做的。
6.真心對人們有興趣：如果你這麼嘗試的話，你可以喜歡上每一個人。
7.要慷慨地讚美，謹慎地批評。
8.要體貼顧慮他人的感受，他人將會感激你這樣做。
9.要細心聆聽他人的意見。每個爭論都有三個立場：你的、另一個人的、和正確的立場。
10.願意隨時樂意效勞：生命中最有價值的事物，是我們為他人所做的事。
THE SIX MOST IMPORTANT WORDS:
"I admit I made a mistake."
THE FIVE MOST IMPORTANT WORDS:
"You did a good job," or "I am proud of you!"
THE FOUR MOST IMPORTANT WORDS:
"What is your opinion?"
THE THREE MOST IMPORTANT WORDS:
"I love you."
THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT WORDS:
"Thank you."
THE MOST IMPORTANT WORD:
"We."
THE LEAST IMPORTANT WORD:
"I."

Formula for tact: Be brief, politely; be aggressive, smilingly; be emphatic, pleasantly; be positive, diplomatically; be right, graciously.
巧妙處事的方程式：說話簡短而有禮貌，微笑地採取攻勢，和藹可親而愉悅地強調事情，圓滑地表明你肯定積極的立場，謙卑和善地表示自己是對的。
Deal with the faults of others as gently as you do with your own.

Charm is the ability to make someone else think that both of you are pretty wonderful.
