Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)
”Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)”
by Green Day
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test, and don’t ask why.
It’s not a question, but a lesson learned in time.
It’s something unpredictable, but in the end is right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf of good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it’s worth, it was worth all the while.
It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
”Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)”是美國Neo-Punk樂隊Green day於1997年的作品,筆者初次試聽時已十分喜歡。
Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)”便象徵了這三個大孩子正邁向成熟的階段。跟過往耳熟能詳的“When I Come Around”及“Welcome To The Paradise”等名曲顯著不同,沒有了嘈吵節拍的Green Day明顯開始懂人情世故,歌詞寫得不俗。
