Japanese words

Since last week, I have been teaching my P. 4A students a Japanese word a day. It's been quite successful in terms of catching their attention, I may say, but sometimes they are still noisy when repeating the new word over and over in class. I have got to stop their yealing and shouting every 10 minutes, I believe.

It's been more than 6 weeks since I have started to teach. Not too difficult, but certainly not as easy as I have initially imagined. Teaching kids is one thing, catching their attention is another. P. 3B class, the smallest class in the school, is luckily the class I am handling most of the time. However, noises are not proportional to number of students, I have found. As long as there are a few talkative kids, the whole classroom is just filled with echoes of voices. It's certainly a challenge to my patience.
