When loves come,
　　please well treasures it.
Friendship when whispers to you,
　　please do listen respectfully its prayer.
When the pain seeks you,
　　accept its instruction.
When lonely summons,
　　will tie with it for the friend.
However the time shoulder to shoulder travels together with you,
　　please not easily lets it sneak off.

寂寞召喚時
　　將與它結為知己
然而時光與你並肩同行
　　請勿輕易讓它溜走


p.s.這首小詩是我的一位中學同學兼摯友占士於1988年寄贈我的，他之前得了登革熱病，令我很擔心並不斷寄信問候他，時至今日，我們的友情心照不宣。
朋友之道，並不在乎聚少離多，也無所謂交情深淺；
祇要大家在於一起的時候，有誠意和開心便行了！
