Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特〈You〉〈你〉
這一期可能要對於 R&B 比較有真正接觸的朋友，才能全盤吸收；sorry！不過 巴黎 也會盡量為大家提供資訊，畢竟對於不熟悉的朋友，正是一個接觸的好機會！這是一位 巴黎 無意間發現的 R&B 新人，來自加州 San Jose 聖荷西 的抒情 R&B 新人 Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特！
一開始還沒有大雜誌媒體發現他的才華，所以在他的單曲介紹上，寫的是來是美國各地電台的讚譽。如 San Jose 聖荷西市的 Clear Channel San Francisco 的節目部副理 Michael Martin 說：『超讚歌喉，很棒的詞，非常迷人，他是個巨星！』Los Angeles 洛杉磯的 KHHT 電台節目部經理 Michelle S. 說：『〈你〉是首超強單曲！就像聽到了 Joe 喬 的〈I Wanna Know〉…. 這首歌有著那珍奇的，成為超級單曲，並且成為你最常聽前五名單曲，而且聽一年也不厭煩的特質 ---- 不要忽視 Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 ---- 你無法忽視他！』
雖然有一位擔任 R&B 以及福音歌手合音的母親，但二十五歲的 Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 真正想要的是，當一名橄欖球員，直到他看到 Boyz II Men 以及 Jodesi 的表演，大受感動，加上母親的鼓勵，他決定發揮音樂才華。他先跟朋友組了個團體，但不是擔任主唱；不過他說擔任團中的合音，反而讓他學到更多合聲的技巧。之後因為團員年紀漸大，都分別去找尋自己事業的春天，於是在二○○三年，Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 自己創作，並且灌錄了這張中版 R&B 單曲〈You〉〈你〉，放在網路上銷售，沒想到大受歡迎！！
此時，在加州的大電台 Wild 94.9 正好在舉辦一個打趣 American Idol 的活動，『Bay Idol』（bay 指的是舊金山以及聖荷西一帶），看看當地的人，覺得誰的歌真正好聽，有資格來做這個地區的本土偶像。Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 的〈You〉〈你〉受到大歡迎，被拼命點播，最後以一個以自己獨立廠牌發行，名不見經傳的新人，得到點播榜的第七名長達兩週。Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 還因此被 Wild 94.9 請到他們的耶誕節晚會上表演！此時他受到了音樂界的經營大老 Tommy Mottora 湯尼摩托拉（這樣說可能比較多人知道；他就是 Mariah Carey 瑪麗亞凱莉 的前夫，Thalia 妲莉雅 現任丈夫）注意，跟他簽約，並正在環球唱片底下的廠牌 Casablanca Records 籌備他的個人第一張出道專輯！！

〈You〉〈你〉聽起來果然有成為流行 R&B 情歌的潛質，中版但明確的 R&B 節奏，Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 的歌聲在低沉感性中，仍帶著年輕人的稚氣，就像陷入情網的大男孩，眼裡只有一個人，朝思暮想都是他，雖然羞澀但又無法克制的流露出愛慕之意。背景的吉他重複相同的旋律，又更像情不自禁的喃喃自語。而 Ryan Duarte 萊恩度亞特 在轉音的部分也做的很好，像要轉到附歌之前，一段漸升的音階，他很漂亮的從真音轉到假音，更給人陷在愛中，light headed，飄飄在雲端的感受。
