St. Mary's Hospital sells a famous cake called"Sisters' Blessing Cake." Made by a group of Catholic nuns accordingto their own hometown recipes, these special cakes continue to garner mediaattention time after time. Delicious, crisp, refreshingly sweet and verynutritious, the Sisters of St. Mary's pour their loving hearts into the bakingof each and every cake in order to raise funds to support the only Hospice Carein Taitung. Before the making of each cake, the Sisters have three prayers:first that the cakes will turn out successfully, second that the nuns will behappy as they bake and third, a wish for the good health of those who consumethe cake. 

From the very beginning, the Sisters' cakes gota very warm response from the Taitung community. As the orders for the cakesgrew and grew, greater pressure was placed upon the Sisters.
