老歌亂談(875)Crying Time
1964，美國鄉村歌手Buck Owens發行了一張單曲《I've Got A Tiger By The Tail》，奪得了鄉村榜的冠軍，而B面這首由他自己所寫的《Crying Time》，卻連排行榜的邊都沒摸到。
不過，美國盲人歌手Ray Charles卻覺得此曲頗適合他的風格，而在1966翻唱。其實，Ray Charles在之前的1962，同樣是翻唱鄉村歌曲---Don Gibson的《I Can't Stop Loving You》(1957)，已嚐過了甜頭 ( 在美、英排行榜都獲得了冠軍 )。而這次依樣畫葫蘆，雖然在告示牌熱門排行榜只得到第6名，卻在1967為他贏得了「最佳節奏藍調唱片」及「最佳節奏藍調獨唱歌手」的兩座葛萊美獎。
女友找到更好的對象要離開了，心碎難捨之下，掉淚或許難免，而搞到要crying，以「男兒有淚不輕彈」的東方文化，感覺似乎有點太過了些。^^
原唱Buck Owens和Emmylou Harris的合唱版，收錄在Qwens 1989的專輯《Act Naturally》中。
