這片有兩點讓我很驚艷。
1. 歌都很好聽，定情曲"Shallow"不用說，"Always Remember Us This Way"也很精典。
2. Lady Gaga完全豁出去，上半身全裸演出，驚呆了我。
Ally Maine (Lady Gaga飾演)根本是每個你我，有著音樂的夢想，缺少伯樂。有天，她的機會來了，一個「巨星」來到了她的店中，忘光了兩人怎麼回事，我只記得他們在停車場大唱Shallow，進展很快，兩人騎著哈雷(?)巡演旅行，結婚。
Ally Maine 一開始因為明星老公，慢慢有人注意到她，她老公Jackson "Jack" Maine吸毒酗酒，沒遇到Ally前過著紙醉金迷糜爛的瞎日子，和Ally在一起他還是酗酒，Ally得大獎，他醜態百出醉倒在台上，送進治療中心戒酒。
親眼看到Ally成為巨星，Jackson選擇自我了結。這我不懂，你可以離婚，你可以繼續瞎過生活，你為何要自殺呢？又不是缺錢，難道因為過氣了嗎？但是你的地位永遠在江湖上占一席阿。
或許一開始Shallow暗示兩人的結局，你可以說這片是一個巨星的誕生，同樣也是一個巨星的殞滅。
