風吹樹影搖
The wind's blowing to waver and swing the
silhouette of the shadows

驕陽白雲下
Basking in the scorching sunshine below the white clouds

柏油路旁
On the wayside of the asphalt and bitumen road

紅豔綻放
Reddening crimson blossoming out respledently

蟬聲應和
Resonating sonorously with the chirping cicadas singing

夜鷺飛越河岸
The nightly egrets flying across the river bank

尋你，不遇
Searching for you, not met

索性就地候著
I might as well simply or
frankly keep waiting

望星子月光指引
Anticipating the stars and moonlights to guide me the way

遠處槍響飛彈穿越空中
In the faraway there heard were the gun shots flying and piercing through the mid-air

孩童飢餓驚嚇不已
The children were on the verge of hungering felt continuously frightened and horrified endlessly

我身穿華服與高跟鞋
Me I put on my magnificently special costume and high heels

幸福跳躍，於心何忍
Happiness was leaping and jumping, how could we tolerate seeng them in such an impoverished and down and out condition

Perhaps owing to the truth goodness and beauty
也許是水量豐沛
Maybe for its plentiful water resource abound

也許是我想你
Or perhaps it's because of my missing you so much

Closing the book pages
