Great for Hallux Rigidus

I developed Hallux Rigidus last year (in my early 30s) and since then it has been a struggle to find shoes with a firmer forefoot but that are comfortable enough to wear without socks as my feet tend to overheat. Typical shoes often cause blisters at the back of my heels sans socks so I had grown to love the Nike Free shoes but they were way too flexible. I've tried several different brands, including the rocker style and they just didn't provide enough rigidity at the forefoot and the fabric construction was too stiff leading to blisters and hot feet. I finally came across Zoom Fly and immediately noted how stiff the forefoot is thanks to the carbon footplate. They have made a huge difference in my overall comfort and I am finally pain free after two weeks of HIIT workouts since getting these shoes. Bottom line- don't let the "racing" shoe deter you from considering these shoes especially if you are one of the many people out there with arthritis in your toes/feet. They are worth trying!

Something wrong with sizes. I always buying Nike size 9. They always fit perfectly. Those shoes didn't! 9 size too big and 8.5 was small. I'm so disappointed because they seem so comfortable

This shoe is something different. It allows me to push myself on my longer tempo runs and does so without straining myself. If you are looking for a shoe for tempo runs or race training with maximum cushioning, this is it. Sizing is true to other Nike running shoes, choose the same size as you regularly would. In particular, I have trouble with a sore big toe whenever I do sub-7-minute miles for a 6+ mile runs. Because of the plate and lack of flexibility, I no longer have pain on my toes. There are a few things to consider about the shoe because of the unconventional design:
1) These take several miles to get accustomed to because of the unconventional design. Break them in. Im at about 30+ miles and they feel better every time I use them.
2) These have a very thin rubber, so they will not last very long if you use them daily.
3) Consider wearing compression sleeves on your calves, these might give you sore calves because of the lack of flexibility.
4) To really get the most out of these shoes, you definitely have to pick up the pace on your runs. I would say that anything sub 7:15/mile is adequate. Anything slower and 團購人氣產品網拍熱門產品you might feel uncomfortable.

入秋首波鋒面報到！週末變天「降3度」轉濕涼 一張圖秒懂
把握好天氣，週末就要變天啦！中央氣象局今（7）日指出，今年入秋首道鋒面將來襲，北部地區天氣逐漸產生變化，未來幾天的降雨機率預估將提高，北部地區溫度將降到29度，明天的天氣變化得更劇烈。氣象局特別在臉書PO出一張圖，詳細解析明週末的天氣變化，大台北山區要注意出現局部大雨和豪雨，預估較大雨勢將持續3天，雨勢不容小覷。

另外，氣象局提醒，目前在菲律賓東方有一低氣壓，未來有可能會發展成熱帶低氣壓，預估在週五、週六會來到東北部外海，目前看來並不會影響台灣，但其水氣會併入週六南下的首波鋒面，導致降雨機率提高，提醒民眾慎防豪大雨，做好排水準備。
