此曲為澳–英樂團Bee Gees的兄弟所創作，收錄於其1969的專輯《Odessa》 中，並未另發行單曲。1971 / 05，此曲僅有在日本發行單曲，獲得第3名的佳績。

1971，英國發行了一部電影《Melody》( 台譯 : 兩小無猜 )，當然也是因此曲歌名的關係，被選為電影的主題曲。Bee Gees同時有多首歌 : 《 In The Morning》、《Give Your Best》、《To Love Somebody》、《First of May》均入選該電影的插曲，也使得Bee Gees的名聲隨著電影更被推向世界。

《Melody》電影講的是青春期少男少女初戀的故事。奇怪的是，此片在英美並未受到歡迎，反而在日本大為走紅 ( 台灣也不差 )， 台長當年也看過，對小男主角的那一頭金髮尤其印象深刻，相當的可愛和帥氣，但對女主角的樣貌則是完全的模糊了。有趣的來了，包含台長我和許多人，應該都很想知道當年電影中這對小戀人之後的情況。2022，這兩人又回到日本同台亮相，答案揭曉後，不知大家的感想如何？
