此曲為加拿大女歌手Shania Twain與為其製作人的老公Robert John "Mutt" Lange所合寫，歌曲首於1995五月在美國電台發行，六月才以雙A面正式發行，單曲獲得美國告示牌鄉村榜的冠軍 ，為自1986加籍女歌手Anne Murray以來，首度由非美國籍在鄉村榜奪冠的女歌手。此曲獲得多項音樂獎項，也獲得葛萊美最佳鄉村歌曲和最佳鄉村女歌手的提名，惜未能獲獎。

說到此曲的成功，合寫此曲的製作人老公自是功不可沒。兩人情緣的開始是這位Lange老兄聽到了Twain的歌曲後，主動打電話給她，說願為她製作專輯籍及共同創作歌曲，經過幾個月的電話交流後，1993/06在納許維爾見了面，並迅速成為好友，同年12月底倆人結婚。2008/05，Lange與Twain的閨密Marie Anne發生婚外情後分居，2010正式離婚。2011元旦，Shania Twain竟然與Marie Anne的前夫結婚，隨後，Lange也與Marie Anne結婚 ( 並無正式公布日期等 )，兩對夫妻你來我往，雖非僅有 ( 披頭合唱團的George Harrison和好友Eric Clapton也相互接收了對方的老婆和女友 )，也算得上是現今奇聞了。

對於Twain早期的歌曲和服裝，受到頗多的批評，像是「用平淡無奇、朗朗上口的硬搖滾技巧稀釋了鄉村音樂，並肆無忌憚地用性感音樂錄影帶推銷唱片。」。由於喜歡穿著暴露、露出腹部的服裝，被樂評戲稱是 「納許維爾最著名的腹部」。而無論如何，Shania Twain還是用自己堅持的風格，創造了音樂事業上的成功。

歌曲的內容大意說的是，我所屬意的男人，是個一切唯女方是從的男人，女方永遠是最好的，女方永遠都不會有錯，有點像是小馬哥當年喜歡在婚禮中的致詞，但人還是會變，如今的小馬哥竟然連酷酷嫂的話都不聽了。
