此曲為美國鄉村女歌手Janie Fricke自其1981的專輯《Sleeping with Your Memory》中所釋出的第2首單曲，在告示牌鄉村榜獲得第4名的佳績，在加拿大排行榜則為榜首冠軍曲。

 說起Janie Fricke的出道也有些許的戲劇性。自幼愛唱歌的她，於1972大學畢業後，自印第安納搬到了加州洛杉磯，想找一份錄音室的伴唱工作，但機會有限。在贏得一次才藝比賽後，有位在場觀看的鄉村音樂製作人提出，若她願搬到納許維爾 ( 鄉村音樂之都 )，就給她一份秘書的工作，Fricke接受了並於1975去到了納許維爾。擔任秘書期間，Fricke參加了 Lea Jane Singers合唱團體的試鏡，並加入了該4重唱組合及擔任女高音。70年代中期，Fricke作為該組合成員，參與超過5000張唱片的製作，年收入估計達10萬美元。也曾為像Lynn Anderson 、貓王Presley、Tanya Tucker等知名歌手擔任過合音。

1976，Fricke替男歌手Johnny Duncan的熱門曲《Stranger》 ( # 4 ) 擔任獨唱合音 ( 並未掛名 )， 也只是唱了少少幾句，卻引起了電台聽眾及DJ的關注，哥倫比亞唱片公司甚至遞出一紙合約，也自此開啟了Janie Fricke的獨唱生涯 ( 之後Fricke 與Duncan也再多次合作 )。Fricke共有19首單曲進入排行榜前10名，其中9首為冠軍曲。Fricke曾數次獲得美國鄉村音樂學院及協會的獎項，也曾4次獲得葛萊美獎項的提名，惜均未能獲獎。

Janie Fricke算是位會唱歌的歌手，針對不同的唱片製作人及合作的男歌手，會調整她自己的歌路風格，也因為習慣了擔任伴唱歌手，總感覺缺少了她自己的「獨特性」。綜觀此曲歌詞的內容，簡單來說應該就是「非誠勿擾」。
