初聽此首《Love Me》，感覺似曾相識，搜尋了一下，果然是貓王Presley曾於1956唱紅過的歌曲 ( No. 2 )。而Cher和Gregg Allman的版本則收錄在他們1977的專輯《Two the Hard Way》中，奇怪的是，包含Allmusic在內的三家樂評，均只給此專輯一顆星的評價 ( 最高五顆星 )，甚至The Rolling Stone Record Guide連半顆星也沒給，此專輯在商業上的銷售自然也是慘遭滑鐵盧。

說到專輯慘敗的原因，主要是認為這兩人的歌路根本無法融合到一塊 ( Cher是唱流行的，而Gregg則屬「南方搖滾」 )，另則是對兩人的結合從開始就沒看好。1975，Gregg認識了Cher後就開始極力追求，並在同年Cher與首任丈夫Sonny Bono 正式離婚後才第4天，倆人就辦理了結婚，想來Cher也是被愛情沖昏了頭。但也才結婚9天，Cher發現Gregg有嚴重的毒癮和酒癮，就想終結婚姻，而之後一直拖到1979才離異。

Cher擁有此張專輯的母帶版權，而之後未再重新發行過，2021，Cher在她的YouTube頻道上發布了專輯全部的11首歌，以及1977為BBC的電視節目「The Old Grey Whistle Test」所錄製的現場視頻 ( 以下即是 )，聽起來Gregg的歌喉實在也不怎麼樣。
