此曲為The Byrds樂團的主奏吉他手兼主唱Roger McGuinn與原Tom Petty專屬樂團The Heartbreakers的鼓手Stanley Lynch所合寫，收錄在The Byrds 1990的同名專輯 (4CD的盒裝版)及同年發行由盒裝版精選的《20 Essential Tracks from the Box Set》中。

The Byrds ( 飛鳥樂隊 ) 成立於1964，由於崇拜英國的披頭合唱團，連樂器也要仿效，McGuinn換了 一把與George Harrison同款的Rickenbacker 十二弦電吉他，此吉他清亮的音效，也成為了樂團之後歌曲的特色。1965、1966，The Byrds分別推出了兩張專輯《Mr.Tambourine 》及《Turn！Turn！Turn！》，與專輯同名的兩首主打歌雖均為重新編曲的翻唱歌，但都奪得了告示牌排行榜的冠軍。或許是成名來得太快，容易造成各團員的自以為是，自1967起，除了Roger McGuinn，其他團員都陸續離離合合，樂團的活動期為1964 – 1973、1989 – 1991、2000。

對於男女之間的愛情，真的永不會消逝嗎 ？台長以為，再火熱的愛情，終究會隨著時間變淡或者昇華。此曲由McGuinn主唱，著實感覺不怎麼樣，而音樂還不錯聽。以下另貼The Byrds 的《I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better》/ 1965，由手搖鈴鼓的主唱Gene Clark所寫，當時作為另首單曲的B面，雖被擋在榜外(# 103)，卻也是樂團較為知名的歌曲。
