在那種求助無門、走投無路，又不甘坐以待斃的狀況下，如果我向中國大陸或臺灣的國民黨屈服或求助時，我相信會很快的得到回應的，但我不是一個會吃「回頭草」的人，而且也正中了他們其中之一的圈套，所以我咬著牙，只好拼了。
這也正是我自身引以為鑿的惕厲之心所使然，縱然明知不可為而為之，有如明知山有虎，偏向虎山行的豪氣。
為了「儲蓄糧食」以為逃獄後使用，我整整花了七天的時間偷偷的收藏乾糧，餅干之類的食物，偷放在床下，到了「逃獄之夜」，上床就寢時，才偷偷的拿了出來包紮好，準備行動。
這一天，天氣晴朗，直等到夜深人靜，遠處偶然傳來一兩聲的野狗吠聲外，四周靜悄悄的毫無其他聲音，我心裡想「此時不走更待何時？」於是我從床上慢慢的爬起來，躡手躡腳的走出房門，走了十幾步後，大約十公尺，我就放開腳步狂奔、奔馳如飛，而野狗竟是一大群的狂吠而至，我跑到海邊，就走進海裡，一到海裡，我就馬上用「淺游法」用手觸地前進，到深水時才改用「大蛙式」，依原定計畫，游離監獄範圍，到了對岸。
