My precious daughter turned nine on Monday.

How fast time flies!

On her birthday I gave her a necklace as a present.

There are several words inscribed on a heart-shaped pendant---

"You make the world a better place."

I told her that her birth has brought tremendous joy and delight to our family.

And I want her to keep in mind that no matter what happens in the future,

she is always capable of making our world better.
