Customer：Wow! I guess I'll change my order to a large then.
顧客︰哇！那我要換點大杯的。
Clerk：Great. That will only cost you NT$20.
店員︰好的。這樣只要20元。

「句」細靡遺
We’re having an anniversary special this week. 這星期我們正在舉行周年特價。
當客人上門，而店家正值周年慶或特價活動時，店員就可以說 We’re having a/an...special today/this week/this month.（我們今天∕這星期∕這個月正值……的特價活動。）來吸引顧客。以下介紹類似的用法：
．There is a buy-one-get-one-half-price sale going on this week.
（這禮拜正舉行買1杯，第2杯半價的特惠活動。）
．There is a buy-ten-get-one-free sale happening now.
（現在正有買10送1的特惠活動。）

字字珠璣
．juice n. 果汁
例：Can I get a large coke, please?（請給我1杯大杯的可樂。）
．juicy a. 多汁的；（故事、文章等）
刺激有趣的
例：This apple is really juicy.（這顆蘋果很多汁。）
例：The newspaper is full of juicy gossip. （這份報紙充滿刺激有趣的八卦新聞。）
．special n. 特價；特餐
例：What is the special today?（今日特餐是什麼？）
．cost vt. 花費
某物+cost+某人+金錢 某物花某人多少錢
例：This dress cost me five thousand NT.（這洋裝花了我5千元。）
．要表達某物花了某人很多錢，可以使用：某物+cost+某人+an arm and a leg
例：This sports car cost David an arm and a leg.（這部跑車花了大衛一大筆錢。）
