整頓心靈、美化心靈的未來健康產業》 📘 The Future Health Industry of Mental Order and Aesthetic Cultivation ——以劉騫中國正統書法為核心之研究 — A Study Based on Liu Chien Orthodox Chinese Calligraphy 第一章 緒論 Chapter One Introduction :::writing{variant=“document” id=“21458”} 第一章 緒論 Chapter One Introduction 第一節 研究背景 Section One Research Background 中文 二十一世紀是人類文明快速轉型的時代。 ⸻ English The twenty-first century is an era of rapid transformation in human civilization. Advancements in technology, the explosion of information, the development of artificial intelligence, and increasing globalization have created unprecedented changes in society. People enjoy greater convenience, faster communication, and broader opportunities for international interaction. However, alongside material progress, humanity also faces new challenges. Anxiety disorders, depression, emotional instability, social isolation, and loss of life purpose are becoming global concerns. Although nations continue to invest heavily in medical science and healthcare technologies, many of these issues cannot be solved solely through medication or clinical intervention. Humanity has therefore begun to reconsider an important question: Beyond physical health, what truly constitutes human well-being? Section Two The Transformation of Health Concepts ⸻ English Traditionally, health was often defined as the absence of disease. However, with advances in medicine, psychology, and sociology, people have come to understand that health involves much more than normal physical functioning. It also includes psychological balance, social well-being, and spiritual fulfillment. According to the World Health Organization, health is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. This perspective indicates that the future health industry must extend beyond treatment and encompass prevention, education, psychological support, and personal growth. As a result, mental and spiritual well-being have become increasingly important global concerns. Section Three The Relationship Between Calligraphy and Mental Well-being ⸻ English Chinese calligraphy is one of the most treasured cultural legacies of Chinese civilization. For thousands of years, calligraphy has served not only as a means of written communication, but also as a pathway for self-cultivation. An ancient saying states: “The writing reflects the person.” The style of one’s brushwork often reveals one’s character, discipline, and spiritual state. For this reason, scholars throughout history regarded calligraphy as an important practice of personal cultivation. During the writing process, practitioners must develop concentration, calmness, discipline, and patience. These qualities are also essential components of modern mental well-being. Therefore, calligraphy is not merely an artistic activity; it is a form of mental training. Section Four Motivation of This Study ⸻ English The motivation for this book originates from a profound observation: Modern society is becoming wealthier, yet people are not necessarily becoming happier. Technology continues to advance, yet inner peace does not always increase. Education is becoming more accessible, yet character education is often neglected. Therefore, this study seeks to explore a new path that integrates culture, education, mental well-being, and the future health industry through the theory and practice of Liu Chien Orthodox Chinese Calligraphy. The goal is not only to cultivate artistic skills, but also to foster healthy character and meaningful lives. :::
