Shoes That Fit Campaign is going strong in Santa Rosa




OnMedia is proud to announce the start of their annual Shoes That Fit Campaign, a national program aimed at providing shoes to children in need at the beginning of the school year. The mission of Shoes That Fit is to provide new shoes to children in need so they can attend school in comfort and with dignity, better prepared to learn and play. For the 2013 Campaign, OnMedia will partner with several local businesses to host events, promotions and serve as drop off points for community donations. To raise awareness and money this year, the Brookings Domestic Abuse Shelter is asking men to step out of their comfort zone on Oct. 28 and into a pair of red high heels, for the area’s first “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” campaign. 

This campaign focuses on men being part of the effort to openly communicate about gender relations and sexualized violence.
