In this new work full of abstract texture and deep emotion, contemporary artist Lu Lan-Hsin is based on gray and white, intertwined with smearing, scratching and blue and yellow colors, depicting a spiritual face that is like a person but not a person, like a scene but not a scene.

"There is no clear outline in the picture, because life is not a portrait that can be defined."

"Those messy lines are the traces left by time; those overlapping colors are the proof of the repeated precipitation of emotions."
