老歌亂談(932) Tequila Sunrise
老鷹合唱團 ( Eagles ) 的吉他手兼主唱Glenn Frey和鼓手Don Henley在組團前即是好友搭擋，但在推出首張與樂團同名的專輯中，倆人並未合作寫歌。依據Frey的說法，某日他靠臥在長沙發上彈吉他，彈出了一段有點兒Roy Orbison、又有點兒墨西哥風味的旋律，然後就秀給Henley聽，並說，或許我們該替這段旋律寫些什麼，這也就是倆人合寫這首《Tequila Sunrise》的緣起。
Tequila Sunrise ( 龍舌蘭日出 ) 是一款雞尾調酒，成份主要是龍舌蘭酒 + 柳橙汁 + 紅石榴糖漿。不過，歌曲並未以此款酒作為主要內容，而其實述說的是一位男子的悲歌。這位老兄是位僱工，暗戀上生活周遭的一位女子 ( 也有可能是同事或老闆的女兒 )，但偏偏這位女子像隻花蝴蝶似的，每到晚上，就到鎮上和其他寂寞的男孩玩樂，後來甚至發現也和他的朋友在一起，這種感覺不只是如歌詞中說的「空虛」「麻木」，應該是「尷尬」又「難過」吧！就算是Take another shot of courage ( Tequila被俗稱為 instant courage -- 即時的勇氣，喝完一杯後即有勇氣走向酒館中喜歡的女性開口搭訕 )，恐也難以啟口吧！回到歌曲的開始，這位老兄有可能是在酒館喝到天明，也或許是徹夜坐等看到鄉村霧霾日出的景象 --- 像是「Tequila Sunrise」。

此曲收錄在Eagles第2張專輯《Desperado》( 1973 ) 中，並作為首支單曲發行，在告示牌流行榜獲得第64名。巧合的是，鄉村歌手Alan Jackson於1993翻唱此曲，在告示牌鄉村單曲榜也是得到第64名。
