老歌亂談(927)We'll Be One By Two Today
本名Roland Kent LaVoie的Lobo ( 西班牙語 - 灰狼 )，1943出生於美國佛羅里達。1961即參加了當地的樂團The Rumours，1964上大學後加入另一樂團Sugar Beats，此時遇到了製作人Phil Gernhard，錄製了Johnny Rivers的《What Am I Doing Here》，在當地區域算是一首熱門曲。
之後，LaVoie陸續參與了幾個樂團，並於1969再度與Gernhard合作，錄製了個人首張唱片(二首歌)，唯未見有何起色。1971，LaVoie將自己改名Lobo，Gernhard也另至Big Tree唱片公司擔任主管，同年3月，該公司替Lobo發行了單曲《Me and You and a Dog Named Boo》，分別在美、英排行榜獲得第5及第4名，唱片大賣超過百萬張 ( 獲頒金唱片 )，Lobo自此一砲而紅，不知是因改名走運，還是Gernhard這位貴人終於發揮了功效。
此首《We'll Be One By Two Today》收錄在Lobo首張個人專輯《Introducing Lobo》(1971)中，但並未另作單曲發行，應該是當時評估此曲並不怎麼樣。此曲也仍具有Lobo式的風格，由歌詞來看，應是歌曲主角的感情問題遭遇了阻礙，央請對方 ( 是第三者？) 來幫忙成全，而與輕快流暢的旋律所洋溢的幸福感覺，似並不太相襯。
以下所貼影音上傳者所使用的畫面，是土耳其的電視連續劇---ASI的片段，男女主角為Murat Yıldırım與Tuba Büyüküstün。女主角真的是長得很水，會使得觀賞者的注意力分散，而未能充分感受到，這其實是首還不錯聽的歌。^^
